Greg Coman

Bio: Greg Coman is a Halton Hills based photographer focusing on his client's photographic needs. That includes Portraits, Weddings, Product photography and Events. He is also drawn to the natural world, capturing beautiful landscape scenes around Halton Hills and beyond. His editorial work has appeared in several publications including the front cover of UP! the West Jet magazine, the Bruce Trail Magazine, Side Roads of Halton Hills, Metroland media newspaper, and the Niagara Escarpment Views magazine . He keeps the spectrum open, which has lead to photographic awards in various categories, including Creative, People , Landscape, Wildlife, and Architecture. He received the Mayor’s Choice award in 2014. He has been interviewed on CBC and some of his photographs of the 2013 Ice Storm were featured on the CBC news. Greg has had several exhibitions of his work, including a solo show entitled “Abandoned”, based on abandoned farmhouses, buildings, and found objects. Greg reflects on his career as a photographer. “ It’s a perfect job for me because I love photography and working with people. As well as teaching photography and leading workshops , I’m also constantly learning myself”. Greg is a member of Nikon Professional Services. He is active in the photography community, as Program Co-ordinator and Past President of the Halton Hills Camera Club.
