Bio: Greg Coman is a Halton Hills based photographer. His images have appeared in several publications including the front cover of UP! the West Jet magazine, the Bruce Trail Magazine, Side Roads of Halton Hills, Metroland’ s Independent Free Press, and the Niagara Escarpment Views magazine . He keeps the spectrum open, leading to photographic awards in various categories, including Creative, People , Landscape, Wildlife, and Architecture. He received the Mayor’s Choice award in Halton Hill’s PhotoArt Competition in 2014. He has been interviewed on CBC and some of his photographs of the 2013 Ice Storm were featured on the CBC news. Greg is pursuing a career as a photographer. “ Its a perfect job for me because I love photography and working with people. As well as teaching photography and leading workshops , I’m also constantly learning myself”. He teaches camera basics, composition, and studio portrait lighting. Greg is Past President of the Halton Hills Camera Club. He shoots Nikon, and sometimes Canon. As a family with 2 young children, we completed the 880 km Bruce Trail end to end. I created a photographic essay of that journey.
